Certified CAPI Providers

What does Certified Providers mean?

Certified Providers are CAPI Providers validated to work with the CAPI extension for Rancher. There are two groups:

  • Providers certified by SUSE are actively tested by the Turtles team’s CI workflows to validate they work properly with the CAPI extension for Rancher. However, since most CAPI Providers are upstream projects maintained by the Kubernetes open community, we cannot guarantee that no issues are introduced as new provider versions are released.

  • Providers certified by partners are maintained by SUSE partners. Each partner runs the Turtles certification test suite against a declared set of Rancher, Turtles and provider versions, and submits the results to SUSE.

This is a list of the CAPI Providers officially certified by SUSE. These providers are covered by our test suite and we actively ensure that they work properly with the CAPI extension for Rancher.
